Megan Wilson has 20+ years of experience producing events, as well as comprehensive and authoritative knowledge and experience managing public relations strategy for clients across  fashion, fitness, publishing, real estate, and hospitality. With this experience, she offers clients her vision, which she expertly brings to fruition by piecing together each and every element to build a beautifully finished product, and secure results that exceed the clients’ expectations.

Throughout her career, Wilson’s creative skills and event production and fashion background have differentiated her as a true visual expert. She has been instrumental in successfully planning and executing openings, launches and events, as well as large-scale public relations campaigns and media relations strategies for a variety of venues, personalities and brands including Tao, The Wynn, Cipriani, The Time Hotel, Beautique Restaurant, Dream Hotels, Vivienne Tam, Karim Rashid, Mike Ditka and Carol Alt.

Throughout her career, Wilson has delivered breakthrough coverage and results in various mediums from print magazines to blogs and all media in between. Prior to starting Megan Wilson Public Relations, Wilson was a Vice President at Rubenstein Public Relations where she managed the Dream Hotel Group, Carol Alt, George Pyne, Siras Development, and HAP Investments among other accounts. Throughout her time at Rubenstein, Wilson opened several hotels for Dream in NY and Asia, managed Carol Alt’s work with Sports Illustrated, and produced 20th anniversary events for Pier59 Studios. Wilson also built on her  expertise in event conceptualization and creativity when she was part of the costume styling department at JED Root Agency, assisting in the production of international commercials for print and video fashion campaigns.

Additionally,Wilson is a mentor with RAISEfashion, a nonprofit aimed at helping African American fashion designers break into the industry. She mentors young professionals in the nonprofit and helps them build their brand or business in the fashion or PR field. Wilson has also assisted with All Hands And Hearts and fundraised with them for over 10 years. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fashion Design and Marketing and resides in Manhattan.
